is customary to make donations to charity in honor of
persons after happy events, wishing a speedy recovery to
someone who has been ill, and in memory of someone who
has departed or whose yahrzeit is being observed. Please

or bring it to the Temple office. (Credit card charges
may be faxed to 305-271-9660).
High Holidays Fundraising Campaign
As we pass the beginning of the New Year 5769 we are
grateful for having a beautiful building in which to
pray, inspiring professional leadership of our services,
and educational programs for all ages. Some of us
utilize the Temple often, others only on special
occasions (which unfortunately sometimes occur
unpredictably). However, maintaining the readiness of
our staff and facilities to assist us at times of need
comes at a price, and member dues, ECE and Religious
School tuition, and rental revenue from tenants cover
only a fraction of our frugally budgeted
expenses. To balance our budget we require, above and
beyond dues and fees, an average of around $1800 per
membership unit in donations to our 2008-09 Supplemental
Giving Campaign (formerly known as Fair Share or
Voluntary Giving), with some of you giving more and some
less, based on your means. If you did not receive or

to download it, write your name on the upper left side,
and mail or bring it to the Temple office. Thank you
