is time to reach for God through the heart-opening
expression of prayer and song, through the mystery
and beauty of ageless Hebrew words and through
warmth of being surrounded by community, family and
friends.
It
is time to begin raising our Jewish children with
Jewish values and morals, to acquire a sense of
belonging to a timeless people who possess a
priceless heritage. It is time for our children to
learn that they carry a spark of divinity within, as
do all people. It is time for our children to feel
at home with prayers, songs, holidays and rituals,
which can add layers of meaning to their lives...
and to ours.
It
is time to find a Jewish community that embraces all
who would embrace Judaism, celebrating the
qualities, which make us divine and unique,
regardless of our gender, age and race, whether we
are born Jews or Jews by choice.
